Our History
The Royale Group is a 3rd generation, privately held company, founded in 1986 by Lindsay Logue in Paramus, NJ. Originally, the company focused on being a distributor of specialty fluorine chemicals, pigments, and iron oxides. Over the decades, we’ve grown into a diversified chemical solutions provider, adapting to the needs of customers and the industries we serve, and we have recently expanded into the manufacturing space.
Lindsay Logue founded Royale Pigments and Chemicals. He was instrumental in the Rockford Pigments acquisition and in Interox, one of Laporte’s joint ventures with Solvay.
Royale expands into Asia with long-term partners in China and India.
The Royale Group became a verified member of the Alliance for Chemical Distributors, whose role is to take action in Responsible Distribution of chemicals through a rigorous 3rd party audit (ACD, formally NACD, National Association of Chemical Distributors). Various members of our organization who actively participate in this organization have served in board positions and on committees in the 25 years since joining.
John Logue, Lindsay Logue’s son, joined the company. He reorganized the specialty fluorine products and launched AWSM Industries, named with the first letter of Lindsay’s four grandchildren.
Acquired the Shorechem division, expanding into specialty chemicals from Marcus Hook. Lindsay stepped back in 2005 and remained emeritus until 2018.
The Royale Group received the honor of winning Distributor of the Year from the ACD.
Acquired AWSM Solutions (formerly IMS Chem-Blend) for manufacturing and on-shoring, moved our corporate headquarters to Bear, DE.
